KENTUCKY STATE POLICE POST 14 ARREST LOUISA MAN ON RAPE AND SODOMY CHARGES
LOUISA, KY – (February 14, 2019) On Thursday, February 14, 2019 the Kentucky State Police, Ashland Post was contacted by Lawrence County High School after school officials received a report that a 16-year-old student had been sexually assaulted at home. Troopers met with the victim at Three Rivers Medical Center, where evidence was obtained which implicated Robert Jackson, 36, of Louisa, as the perpetrator.
Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Jackson had been in an intimate relationship with the child’s mother, and had been living in the home with the victim at the time of alleged offenses.
Robert Jackson was arrested and charged with six (6) counts of Rape, 2nd Degree and six (6) counts of Sodomy, 2nd Degree. He has been lodged into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
The case is still under investigation by Master Trooper Shane Copley.
