Louisa Chapter DAR meeting tonight October 27, 2020 from 6pm till 7:30 pm. at First Baptist Church Louisa,Kentucky Cafe. We observed social distance with masks and had 11 in attendance.
We collected 99 pairs of eyeglasses and cases for Lions Club.
The members voted not to hold the November meeting due it being close to thanksgiving that week and our scheduled Christmas auction on December 1,2020.
For our annual Christmas party an auction will be held at the Cafe First Baptist Church. Food will be provided by Rebel Barn , cost per member is $12.00. Please sent check for payment to Carolyn Thompson PO Box 1203 Louisa, Kentucky 41230. Payment must be in advance for head count.
Door prize for event were won by Reba Whitt, Patty Ferrell and Dotty. Thank you ladies for attending.
The article said they observed social distancing and wore masks. I see four people not wearing masks or distancing from others. If you’re going to hold meetings- PLEASE follow the CDC guidelines!
Totally agree with Ellen. How irresponsible and thoughtless of others.
They have always wore mask at their meetings, some does take off to get a picture, so we can see whom they are!
