Louisa Chapter DAR National Defense Chair, Theresa Chaffin, organized the Veterans Day event that was held in the lobby of the old courthouse on Friday November 9, 2018 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Many Veterans stopped by and enjoyed the food, desserts, coffee, and good fellowship.

Sabrina is our Regent and Reba is our Registraer. There is a DAR office in the Court House cenwhich is open every Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm. To join, you must provide descendacy from a Revoluntionary War Soldier to you. Reba would be glad to work with you on how to do this and assist you if you would like to be a member!
