The Louisa Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is honoring two Lawrence County High School graduates.
A $1,000.00 vocational scholarship was given to Preston Williams. Ms. Williams had earned a 3.6 grade average and displayed an interest in and support for the American ideals of the Chapter. She plans to attend Southeastern Beauty Academy in Paintsville to study cosmetology. She is the daughter of George Williams and Toby Marcum.
The outstanding Junior Officers Training Corps cadet for 2021 is Tristyn Workman. Ms. Workman served JROTC with honor and distinction for four years. Her leadership and diligent work ethic are impressive. She is the daughter of Dale & Trina Workman.
