Louisa, Ky. — In the past three weeks the Louisa Co Ed softball league has hosted two softball tournaments that will benefit those in need for two different capacities. Both tournaments were a huge success.

138 can foods and non perishable items were collected and distributed to local food bank

The first one was held October 21st at Stella Moore Park and is was for the fight against hunger as 5 teams came together to play a game they love and also play for a great cause. The tournament collected 138 can foods and non perishable items that were donated to the food bank in Lawrence Co.

The second one was held this past Sunday at Stella Moore Park and is was a Toys for Tots Super Draft Co Ed tournament. Their were 57 players that participated and brought 84 Toys that will be distributed in Louisa and Fort Gay in the coming weeks to the kids that need them. The Co Ed league has been in touch with a couple different people to get together and deliver the Toys.

Both of these tournaments will be held annually and hope both grow from now on.

84 Toys were collected in the Toys for Tots tourney.

The Co-Ed league would like the thank the following people and numerous others for their dedication to this great cause.
