Lou Parker 

1935 — 2017

Lou Parker, 82, of Louisa passed away Monday Sept. 4, 2017 at her home following a long illness.

Lou was born March 5, 1935 at Louisa, the daughter of the late Andy and Goldia McCown Shannon. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Paul Parker, a son Eddie Parker, brothers Tom, Cleon, and Bill Shannon, and sister Helen Branham.

Lou was a retired sales clerk. She loved her family very much and enjoyed being with her grandkids. She was a member of the Oak Grove Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Sherri Crum and husband Charles and Tammy Goble and husband Mitchell all of Louisa; a son Terry Parker and wife Robin also of Louisa; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and a sister Barbara Siminton of Warner Robins, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Sept. 6, at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Mack Ray Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery Louisa, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
