Louisa, KY — With rising food cost many families are struggling to keep food on the table.  To help ease the burden of this crisis OVP Health has partnered with Facing Hunger Food Bank and holds monthly mobile food drives in the communities in which It serves.  On Tuesday, August 2nd OVP Health held its third mobile Food Drive in the city of Louisa at their local office. They were able to serve more than 215 families.

The next Mobile Food Drive will be held in September.  Date to be announced. Distribution begins around 11:00am and goes until they run out of food.  OVP staff reports that people began lining up at 7:30am on Tuesday.

OVP would like to Thank the Staff,  staff family, Springvalley Baseball Team, and the Louisa Police Department with the assistance of distribution of food this past Tuesday!

Staff Member Kerry Wheeler is seen gathering a box of vegetables.

Family of staff are seen volunteering along with the OVP Health Medical Provider Brittany Block.

Sometimes they get posted on Facebook. Johnda usually tries to post them on People Helping People Louisa Facebook Page. You can call the OVP Health office in Louisa or stop by to find out when the next date will be.
