Louisa Middle will host Eastern Ky Conference tournament May 10

Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence Co. Middle and Ashland Middle were scoreless in the second half before Aubrey West found Ellie Webb for the eventual game winning goal in a 1-0 victory for the Soccer Dawgs on Thursday night. It was the second time this season that LC has shut out Ashland. Tristyn Workman was in goal for the Middle Dawgs.

With the win the Middle Dawgs improved to 6-4 on the season with one game left before the Conference tournament next week. LC has defeated Ashland twice, Prestonsburg, Russell, Martin Co., and Boyd Co. this season.

On Tuesday May 9th at Home will be 8th Grade night as 11 girls will be honored before the game vs Martin Co. Any child involved with Lawrence County Youth Soccer and wears their Jersey to the game will get in free.

The B team has a record of 7-1. The team is mostly 6th and 7th graders with a few 8th and one 5th grader on the team this season.

Lawrence Co. will host the Eastern Ky Conference tournament that will begin on Wednesday night May 10th.

At 6:00 Game 1 #6 Boyd Co. vs # 3 Lawrence Co.

At 7:15 Game 2 #5 Ashland vs #4 Russell
