Lindsey Sheridan Cyrus, Jr.

1933 — 2016

Lindsey Sheridan Cyrus, Jr., age 83, of Columbus, OH, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at home in Columbus.  Lindsey was born February 13, 1933 in Louisa, KY. He is the son of the late Joseph Sheridan and the late Mary Jane (Wilson) Cyrus.  

In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Anne Preston Cyrus.

Mr. Cyrus served in the Army during the Korean war and was a retired Kimble Glass employee.  

He is survived by two sons: John Cyrus of Reynoldsburg, OH and Bobby Cyrus of Chillicothe, OH and a sister Ruth Ellen Maynard of Louisa, KY; Mr. Cyrus also leaves behind four grandchildren; Tiffany Tinney, John Cyrus, Sara Kirk and Jennifer Angle  and  fourteen great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Densil Wright officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cyrus Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Monday, November 21 at the Wilson Funeral Home from 11:00 am till the time of the service. 

All arrangements and care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
