Linda Kay Moore, 65, of Argillite, KY formerly of Louisa passed away Friday Jan. 5, 2017 at her home following a long illness.

Linda was born May 18, 1952 in Louisa, the daughter of the late Stanley and Nancy Sparks Chaffin. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ranson Moore who died in 1999, and a son Anthony Moore, and siblings Randy, Noah, Freddie, William, Freda, Mary, and Virginia.

Survivors include two daughters Melissa (Keith) Meadows of Argillite, KY and Tina (Wayne) Gillum of Rush, KY; four grandchildren Michael Moore, Caitlin Staggs, Christina Gillum, and Ranson Meadows; three great grandchildren; three sisters Lena Nelson, Reba Chaffin and Lois Chaffin all of Louisa; and three brothers Frank Chaffin of Plain City, OH, Owen Chaffin and Paul T. Chaffin both of Louisa.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Jan. 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Chaffin Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday Jan. 9, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
