Linda Diane (Orders) Johnson, 71, of Fort Gay, WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Kings Daughter’s Medical Center in Ashland, KY.

She was born September 13, 1947 in Columbus, OH to the late Herbert Melvin and Virginia Rose (Ford) Orders. Mrs. Johnson had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Church of God in Christ Jesus in Fort Gay, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Jimmy Dee Johnson, a daughter-in-law Rachel Johnson, and a brother Stephen Orders.

Survivors include her husband Joseph, their children, Amy (Larry) Riffe, Joseph Allen (Kathy) Johnson, Jeffrey Lee (Felicia) Johnson, Joshua Scott (Charlie) Johnson, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild on the way, along with her siblings Herbert Orders, Doris Fafata, Danny Orders and sister-in-law Joyce Orders, along with many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joseph Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church of God in Jesus Christ Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11am until time of service.
