Linda Sue Slone

1958 — 2017

Linda Sue Slone, 59, of Adams, KY passed away Friday Sept. 1 at the Community Hospice Care Center following a long illness.

Linda was born June 3, 1958 at Sandy Hook, KY, the daughter of the late Henry and Gertie Boggs Steele. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Buddy McDowell.

Linda was a Wal Mart associate and member of the Elizabeth Baptist Church.

Survivors include her loving husband Ishamel Slone; three daughters Melissa Fyffe of Blaine, KY, Elissa Childers of Ashland, KY, and Kristie Lewis of Van Lear, KY; two step daughters Ginger Slone of Lexington, KY and Brandy Griffith of Blaine, KY; a step son Harold Slone of Louisa; three sisters Carrie, Shirley, and Joyce; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Sept. 5th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ledgel Ferguson and Rev. Emmitt Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Fyffe Cemetery on Brushy Fork Road Blaine, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Monday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
