The debate has started again as to whether the US Constitution should be amended in order to change the presidential election process. Some promote eliminating the Electoral College in favor of a direct popular vote for president while others believe the Electoral College should remain
unchanged. Just as compromise solved the initial problems of the framers so it is that compromise can solve this problem. The solution is to change the electoral votes to electoral points and reward each candidate a percentage of points based on the percentage of popular votes received in each state.
This would eliminate the “winner take all” system thus allowing for all the votes to count. A voter is more apt to believe their vote counted when a percentage of popular votes are taken into account rather than the “all or nothing” system currently in existence. Further, this new system would
integrate the desire for a popular vote for president with the need for the individual states to determine who actually gets elected.
For 2020 multiplying the percentage of votes each candidate received {in each state} times the number of electoral votes {in each state} results in the following: Biden 267.23 and Trump 252.33. Multiplying the percentage of popular votes each candidate received {nationwide} times the total number of electoral votes {538} results in the following: Biden 274.92 and Trump 253.40.

That would mean there Dear Leader has lost again
I like the way things are. However, if a better way exists out there, I am open to listen. I do not want to change the U.S. Constitution every time someone’s nose gets out of joint. Certain persons were not displeased with the system when their candidate won! Hmmm. Makes you wonder.
My current concern is that I wonder how many illegal immigrants voted in this election. When certain political pundits do not want people identified when they vote as proof of being legal American citizens, I question their motivation.
Especially when those same political persons want to give a stimulus $1200 to illegal immigrants.

According to estimates of illegal immigrants in Kentucky, there are about 45,000.
To give them $1200 in stimulus money, would take $54,000,000.00.
Of course, the legal residents of Kentucky don’t need that money. Just saying.
Why should illegal immigrants get anything but sent back to where they came from? The word “illegal” says it all! If your an American and you commit a crime your more than like locked up for it! I’ll bet the American people in jail didn’t get 1,200.00 or food stamps, but “illegal immigrants can and can vote? The is wrong in every way! They sure shouldn’t be allowed to vote, but then again I never thought I would see the day dead people voted either! Voting should require valid I.D. we have to have it to buy a pack of cigarettes or alachol, to sign up on any Government assistance so why not have I.D. for the most important thing for our country….unless someone wants it that way to cheat.
There are three good responses here, and then there is KAG. I see merit in what Joe Bialek said, however I also see merit in the electoral college. Voter ID is a very valid point. In TN, one must show a state issued ID to vote period. How our law got past all the complaints, lawsuits and claims of racism I just don’t know, but it did, and it works! A state issued ID also requires a birth certificate to obtain. So with the electoral college and VALID voter ID, the system would work perfectly, it does here. I have no doubt this election was crooked, and I have no doubt the dims crooked it! Mail in votes need to stop forever with this election (except for military and the truly disabled). They used a pandemic to pull off the largest swindle in American history, whether with illegals or dead people or people who simply didn’t exist? Fools like KAG would be fine with New England and the ‘Left Coast’ controlling every election, because people like her would get more free stuff, hell they would sell their soul for free stuff. I don’t live on the draw and I am an American and proud to be one. May God bless and help Americans in the next 4 years.
Charley you do know Ky had mail in voting this year in the primary and general maybe it’s that you like it when your Dear Leader won but not in the states where your Dear Leader lost you have had 46 days to show some kind of voter fraud to the courts and yet you have not.
