Lenora Salmons, 53, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

Lenora was born September 12, 1968 in Louisa, KY to Jesse L. Timothy and Corda Lee (Copley) Salmons.

Lenora was a member of the Webb Freewill Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was a homemaker and loved her family very much. Lenora was preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Bertha Salmons and Raymond and Corda Copley; uncles Frankie Salmons, Jarvis Ellis, and Roland Salmons; and aunts Nancy Marcum, Linda Marcum and Shirley Klein.

Surviving are her parents Jesse L.T. and Corda Lee Salmons; children Ashley Mullins and Michael J. Mullins; brother Jesse Salmons Jr.; many nieces and nephews, including two special nephews Jesse (Whitley) J. Salmons and Cody (Hannah) Lee Salmons; many aunts and uncles, including Laura Sweening, Betty (Freddie) Marcum, Janie Salmons, Arbery (Tracy) Salmons, Barbara (Steve Belvin) Carsner, Bill (Lisha) Salmons, Jimmy Salmons, and a very special aunt Vernie Salmons; lifelong friend Hope Gillam; great nieces and nephews Gracelyn, Colson, Presley, and Brantley Salmons; and special cousins Josie Perry and Julie Coleman.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Webb Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Phillip Stroud officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, October 2, 2021 after 4:00 PM until time of service at the church.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Salmons and her family.
