Louisa, Ky — Both the Boys and Girls Tennis teams at Lawrence Co. are having outstanding seasons so far in 2019 with a combined record of 24-2 after sweeping Pikeville on the road Tuesday night.
The Girls are a perfect 13-0 on the year with wins over Belfry, Sheldon Clark, Johnson Central, Raceland, Rowan Co. Montgomery Co, Paintsville, Pikeville, Russell and Magoffin Co.

The Boys are 11-2 and haven’t lost to a Region opponent this season. They have picked up wins over Belfry, Sheldon Clark, Johnson Central, Paintsville, Magoffin Co. Rowan Co. Raceland, and Pikeville.

“… Just super proud of all the kids this year. They have worked hard in and out of season and all summer to get better and it is showing! We have lots of kids out this year 20 girls along with 12 boys. Every one of them has contributed to our season so far.”
