Danville, Ky. — Eli Fletcher, a soon to be junior at Lawrence Co. , participated in the East/West All-Star Baseball classic on Tuesday at Centre College.
Fletcher played for the East team and In pre-game hitting, he hit a home run and had a 92 MPH exit velocity. which was one of the highest on the day out of about 50 total kids.
He was 1 for 3 with 2 stolen bases. And scored the tying run in Game 2.
He started at second base and played 7 innings out of 12 total innings at 2nd base and 1 inning at third. He made two defensive plays.
East lost Game 1 by a score of 9-5.
The two teams tied 2-2 in Game number 2.
