Fallsburg, KY. — The LC Select travel team opened up the basketball season with three victories over Eden elementary out of Martin Co. recently. The team is made up of mostly 4th and a few 5th Graders.

LC Select 26 Eden 3 ( C Game )
In the first game of the night LC Select had five players score in the win. Braxton Davis was high scorer with 11 points, Wyatt Branham finished with 6 points, Keaden Ellis had 3 points, Boedy Maynard and Carlo Chicko both had 2 points.
LC Select 44 Eden 3 ( B Team )
In the second game it was the LC Select with another win as nine players dented the scorebook in this one. Keaden Ellis and Braxton Davis had 12 points each to lead in scoring. Carlo Chicko, Ty Brooks, and Wyatt Branham scored 4 each, Abby Maynard, Ryland Brady, Conner York and Addison Bloomfield chipped in with 2 apiece.
LC Select 67 Eden 20 ( A Team )
Gunnar Woods poured in 25 points to lead the Select team to victory in the last game of the night. Boedy Maynard finished with 8 points, Braxton Davis had 6 points, Ty Brooks, Addison Bloomfield and Abby Maynard tallied 6 points each, Connor York chipped in with 2 points.

Paintsville, Ky. — This last Saturday the 4th and 5th graders from LC Select traveled to play the 6th graders from Highland Elementary in Johnson Co. in Eagle Madness and fell 46-43 just missing a three pointer to send it to overtime.
Gunnar Woods finished with 20 points, Addison Bloomfield tallied 17 points, Ethan Horn had 4 points and Abby Maynard chipped in with 2 points in the narrow loss.
