“Lawrence County’s Got Talent” BRINGS OUT LARGE CROWD AT COMMUNITY CENTER

Lauran Hogston won $500 first place prize money in the 11-17 age group at last weekend’s talent show

Lawrence Judge/Executive Phil Carter, left and deputy judge/executive Vince Doty enjoyed the event sponsored by the fiscal court and several local merchants.

The Lawrence County Community Center hosted “Lawrence County’s Got Talent” on Friday February 25 and Saturday February 26, 2022 at 6 PM. There were three age groups, 10 & under, 11-17, and 18 and older. The winner in each age group will receive $500 for first place and the first fifteen applicants to each age group was accepted.

Emcee Sheila Preston Bowen thanking Tamera New for all her help getting the Talent Show together.

A large crowd turned out for the talent show and enjoyed the music and songs of the applicants of all ages. Judge-Executive Phillip Carter and Deputy-Judge Vince Doty had smiles all evening and enjoyed the music.

A special thanks goes out to Emcee Sheila Preston Bowen and Tamera New for organizing the event.

Loud Diversion (Trey Hall, Grant Stalvey and Ethan Burgess) won $100 at the event.

1. Madison Ash $500
2. Kyra Hilton $100
3. Kierra Caudill $50

 

The winners 11-17
1. Lauran Hogston $500
2. Loud Diversion(Grant Stalvey, Trey Hall and Ethan Burgess) $100
3. Haylee Pavlovski $50

 

The winners 18 and up
1. Daphne Ash $500
2. Savanna Wright $100
3. Josh Slone $50
4. James Maynard $50

Savanna Wright won $100 in the 18 and above category
