Lawrence County, May 31, 2024 – The Lawrence County Storm youth 10U softball team has taken the local sports community by storm, finishing their season with an unblemished record. The young athletes demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination, securing their place as champions with a perfect slate of victories.

Throughout the season, the Storm faced numerous formidable opponents, but their relentless dedication paid off as they consistently outperformed their rivals. The team’s impressive run has been marked by both strong offensive plays and an impenetrable defense, showcasing the players’ comprehensive understanding of the game.

“These girls have worked incredibly hard, not just on their physical skills but also on building a strong, supportive team dynamic,” said Coach Huff. “Every player has shown tremendous growth and commitment, and it’s been a privilege to watch them come together and achieve something so special.”

Parents and supporters have also played a significant role in the Storm’s achievements, providing unwavering support and encouragement from the sidelines. The sense of community and collective pride was palpable during their final game, where the Storm clinched their last victory in the bottom of the 6th inning, 5-4 over the Smoke Show to secure their perfect record.

The Lawrence County Storm 10U softball team was coached by Brad Huff, Dave Fyffe and Timmy Evans.
