The Lawrence County Sheriff Department and Cash Express of Louisa have announced that they are joining forces by combining together their annual coat and toy drive for children
They will be accepting toys, coats, shoes, (washable), clothing, and non-perishable food items in drop-off locations in the area.
They are asking that donations be received by December 15, in order to have them delivered in time for Christmas.
They are also asking the schools to help with the project, and they will provide a pizza party to the class that collects the most donations. The principal of each school decides the winning class and pizza will be provided on the last day of school before the Christmas break
KENTUCKY STATE POLICE POST 14 ASHLAND SEEKING SHOP WITH A TROOPER DONATIONS
 
‘Shop with a Trooper’ has just started its yearly campaign, and the Kentucky State Police Post 14 in Ashland, Ky., are asking for donations so that they can buy gifts for children that who otherwise would not have a Christmas
 
Last year holiday 2020, KSP Post 14 provided gifts for 101 children in Boyd county Greenup County Carter County and Lawrence County.
 
To donate or recommend a family in need this Christmas, you can contact KSP trooper Shane Goodall by private message, or you can call 606-694-5648.
