You are so misinformed. Teachers had to go to PD. They would rather have their students!
The average Joe might believe you but I taught for almost 20 years. PD was a joke at both states I taught. Some signs in and leaves and gets total credit for the PD. The rest plays on phones and acts intrested. Of course theres a few who might benifit. Often the presenter of the PD has little to no teaching experience. Its just a formality. Its a good break from the classroom. Check the box, sign in and go home early. Cha-Ching. The teachers must be well trained. Look at all the PD they’ve had.
