Living Water with CVM Fan Award for horizon bluegrass group

Award Winning, Lawrence County gospel band, Living Water has brought home another Gospel Music Award and been nominated for 4 categories.  Living Water attended the Christian Voice Magazine Fan Awards for 2016 in Somerset, Ky. on May 21, 2016 where they were Top Ten Nominees in 4 categories along with such names as The Isaacs, The Primitive Quartet, The McKamey’s, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver.

Living Water won  the “Horizon Bluegrass Gospel Group” of the Year. They were listed among The Roys, Mountain Faith and Breaking Grass.

“We are nothing without God.” says Shona Smith, mandolin and guitar player for Living Water, who is also the 2015 “Female Horizon” for Christian Voice Magazine Fan Awards.  “It is an honor just to be mentioned among such great talent.” says Ken Adams, the guitar player for the band who announced his calling to preach in January of this year. Betty Bartlett, bass player who doesn’t speak too much, looked on smiling.

The Trio travel all over to churches, singings, conventions, anywhere the Lord leads.  They fall under bluegrass gospel genre as well as country gospel, old time gospel and even “southern grass”.  They are an on fire ministry for the Lord.  If you are looking for a group to come serve the Lord in your church contact Shona Smith, manager.  You can find them on facebook as well as reverbnation and www.livingwater.fourfour.com, or email LivingWater.gospel@yahoo.com.  or call 606-371-3203.
