FOURTEEN (14) OF FIFTEEN (15) LAWRENCE COUNTY, KY. RESIDENTS WERE ARRESTED ELSEWHERE IN NEIGHBORING KY. COUNTIES, WHILE ANOTHER WAS ARRESTED IN OF ALL PLACES…TEXAS. ALSO; A FORT GAY, W.VA. MAN HAD TWO SEPARATE ARRESTS IN MARTIN COUNTY, KY.
THE LAWRENCE COUNTY ARRESTS WERE SPLIT BETWEEN: FOUR (4) IN JOHNSON COUNTY (ONE OF WHOM WAS TAKEN NEXT DAY TO BOYD COUNTY, KY.); FIVE (5) IN MARTIN COUNTY; FIVE (5) IN BOYD COUNTY; AND ONE IN ROBERTSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
Patricia Banks, 64, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County on January 15, 2023, at 1:53 A.M., by officer Miller, of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1E) – 1ST OFFENSE.
Brian M. Adkins, 25, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested in Martin County on January 21, 2023, at 1:30 A.M.,by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:
• INADEQUATE SILENCER (MUFFLER),
• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,
• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,
• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

Marcus Dylan Thompson, 24, of Ulysses, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County on January 21, 2023, at 1:40 A.M., by officer Tyler Cable, of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/ INFLUENCE SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1C)-1ST OFFENSE,
• PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE,
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE – BARBITURATE,
• FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD.
John Glen Compton, 57, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County on January 22, 2023, at 12:05 A.M., by deputy Jeffrey Castle, of the Johnson County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR,
• FLAGRANT NON-SUPPORT. Both of the charges on John Glen Compton were from warrants out of Boyd County, KY.
John Glenn Compton was transferred from the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, KY., in Johnson County; & he was taken to the Boyd County Detention Center in Catlettsburg, KY., & was booked there on January 23, 2023, at 10:37 A.M.
Jessica L. Wilks, 43, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Boyd County on January 23, 2023, at 11:23 P.M., by the Boyd County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:

John J. Loudon, 41, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested in Martin County on January 24, 2023, at 10:59 P.M., by trooper Ryan Hale, of the Kentucky State Police Post 9, Pikeville, KY., & was charged with:
• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).
Stephanie N. Chafin, 24, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Martin County on January 26, 2023, at 5:54 P.M., by deputy Chris Kidd, of the Martin County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).
Paul J. Chaffin, 42, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Martin County on January 26, 2023, at 6:21 P.M., by Sheriff John H. Kirk, of the Martin County Sheriff Office, and was charged with:

Alexander B. Prince, 26, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Boyd County on January 29, 2023, at 4:05 A.M., by the Boyd County Sheriff Office, & was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL .08 (189A.010(1A) – 1ST OFFENSE.
Brandon S. Castle, 32, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Boyd County on January 31, 2023, at 6:10 P.M., by the Ashland, Ky. Police Department, & was charged with:

Nicholas T. Hackney, 32, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County on February 1, 2023, at 4:25 P.M., by officer Tyler Cable, of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:
