LOUISA, KY — The LC Middle School Football team traveled to Hazard on Saturday evening to face off with the Perry County Commodores.  The Bulldogs won the game 38-6.

Within the first quarter of the game the Dawgs led 32-0 and achieved the “running clock”.

The passing game was electric with 135 yards, 3 touchdowns, and one 2-point conversion in the first quarter.

The running game led by a dominant offensive line had 94 yards, 1 TD and 3 2pt conversions.   The Bulldog’s defensive line was disruptive all evening with 6 sacks, 2 quarterback hurries, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 interception, and one 30-yard scoop and score for a defensive touchdown.

Player Quote:

LC quarterback Mitchell Frazier says, “…Our team has worked really hard to get to this point and we just play with a chip on our shoulder.  Offensively, we took what the defense gave us, my offensive line dominated, and our receivers just catch everything.  The defense played great, and our newer guys got a lot of reps. Perry County was a younger team, but they have some great players. It’s just one game but I’m still glad we got the win.”
