Deputy Musick responded early in the day and he relayed to me that the subjects wife states that he has been up for three days and is hallucinating. Rachel Wellman, 38, Louisa, Kentucky 41230

Violation Code: 42081 Statute 218A.500(2)

Charge 1: POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG, 1ST OFF (METHAMPHETAMINE)
Charge 2: DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS

The Officer responded to the cemetery at the intersection of Hwy 828 and Spankem Branch Road in reference to a trespassing complaint. The caller advised that there was a vehicle parked at their cemetery and they had their lights off.

“Upon arrival I made contact with Nathaniel Houston passenger and Rachael Wellman driver. Upon approaching the vehicle I smelled a strong odor of marijuana. I asked Rachael if there was anything illegal in the vehicle and she stated that there was one (roach) aka Marijuana butt in the vehicle,” the officer said.

The Officer asked both to exit the vehicle, and then searched the vehicle. Under the passenger seat the Officer located a needle. On the dash on drivers side I located a small pink bag containing a glass pipe. Also located was a pink box containing several loaded needles. Ms. Wellman stated that the substance is Suboxone. The Officer asked them who the items belonged to and they stated they did not know.

“I then shined my flashlight on the ground around the vehicle and noticed a small glass bottle containing what appeared to be methamphetamine. The Officer asked again, who it belonged to and no one took ownership.”

Before leaving Mr Houston admitted that he threw the glass bottle on the ground. –Officer T. Laney
