Lawrence County, Kentucky Unveils Its First Ever County Government Website

LOUISA, KY – November 9th, 2023 – Lawrence County is thrilled to announce the launch of its new official county government website, LawrenceCountyKY.gov. This initiative, led by Judge/Executive Phillip L. Carter, Deputy Judge/Executive Vince Doty, and HR Officer Shawna Marcum, signifies a major step in enhancing accessibility and transparency in local government for Lawrence County residents.

Bluecall’s Chief Technology Officer, Erick Cline, a Lawrence County native, and his talented team provided the creative services.

The newly designed website will serve as a comprehensive digital hub, providing essential resources, and information directly related to Lawrence County operations and services. Notably, the site has been meticulously designed to ensure compliance to the Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design, guaranteeing easy access and navigation for all residents, regardless of their abilities.

“Lawrence County’s new website is going live, and we are thrilled about it!” states Judge/Executive Carter. “We are striving to be more inclusive, offering a platform where all our residents can actively engage with their local government, access vital information, and stay up to date with county information.”

While the website will be fully functional upon launch, county officials remain dedicated to continuously enhancing its features and resources. Future updates and additions are in the pipeline to keep the site dynamic and cater to the evolving needs of Lawrence County’s community.
