The Lawrence County, Kentucky Humane Society is busy preparing for the Ninth Annual “Walk for the Animals” to be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Main Street Park in downtown Louisa.
All participants are encouraged to pre-register but registrations will be accepted on the day of the event beginning at 9:00a.m. Registration fee is $20 per walker. Walk as a single or walk as part of a team. Prizes will be given to the top 2 individuals who collect the most in pledges and to the team that raises the most money.
There will be bands performing throughout the day. There will be product and food vendors, a 50” Smart TV raffle and a $500 Big Sandy Superstore Gift Card raffle, pet contests, children’s activities with inflatables, a petting zoo, a silent auction with great items including concert tickets for Dolly Parton, KISS, dog and cat gift baskets and much more!

Please join us for the “Walk for the Animals 2016”. This year’s Walk promises to be the best one yet! Be sure to bring a chair so that after the Walk, you can listen to good music and support a great cause! All proceeds benefit the Lawrence County Humane Society Animal Shelter.
