LAWRENCE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT COVID-19 UPDATE, August 12

Lawrence County – please take this seriously!!

There have been 90 COVID cases in the last 8 days. Lawrence County’s incidence rate is RED. All area hospitals are running out of ICU beds. COVID units are full. If you are symptomatic, please get tested and stay home. Isolate in your home away from the rest of your family. Everyone needs to wear a mask indoors, especially in crowds and even if vaccinated. Most important, please choose to get vaccinated!

Vaccine Schedule:
• Pfizer (ages 12 and older): Mondays 8:30 am – 5:30 pm and Thursdays 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
• Moderna (ages 18 and older): Tuesdays 8:30 am – 2:30 pm and Fridays 8:30 am – 11:30 am
• Closed for lunch from noon until 1pm.
