Repair work will close Ky 581 bridge in Lawrence Co. Tuesday morning, July 17
LAWRENCE COUNTY (Wednesday, July 11, 2018) – The bridge on KY 581 in Lawrence County between Coalfield Lumber Yard and Riverside Go Cart Track will be closed for maintenance from 9 a.m. until 12 noon this coming Tuesday, July 17.
Keith Hill, Structures Superintendent for Highway District 12, said the bridge is on George’s Creek at the 9.5 mile marker.
“There isn’t really any good alternative route,” Hill said. “So we will try to finish our work as quickly as possible. We want to thank the people who use this bridge for their patience and understanding.”
