3.A. Approve Claims and Orders of the Treasurer  

3.B. Consent Agenda

Approve Consent Agenda Items:

3.B.1. Approve per diem and expenses for members in attendance 

3.B.2. Contracts/Services: 

3.B.2.a. Contract Modification of Memorandum of Agreement for Locally Operated Career & Technical Ed Center; effective 08-26-2022 to 06-30-2023: $408,255.00 (due to increase in enrollment; previous amount: $404,808.00)

3.B.3. Fundraisers: LCHS  

3.B.4. Use of Facilities Request:  Louisa East Elementary for Louisa High School Class of 1973 Reunion; September 9, 2023 (Septemberfest Saturday); confirmed with SBDMC and principal; Mike Armstrong, Reunion Committee Contact; pending event liability insurance 

3.B.5. Request for assistance with purchase of jerseys for Louisa Middle School Boys’ Soccer and Girls’ Soccer Teams

3.D. Approve permission to seek bids for grass mowing services

3.E. Approve permission to bid Operation, Management, and Monitoring of Broadband LAN/WLAN components (MIBs=Managed Internal Broadband services 

3.F. Approve permission to bid Leased Lit Network Capacity to provide a Standalone Data Transmission (WAN) Service for the head-end (Technology Building) to the four school sites (BES, FES, LEES, LWES)  

3.G. Approve, at the recommendation of Superintendent Fletcher, whose decision is based on the staff and parent survey results, the 2023-2024 Lawrence County School District Calendar including attendance months, adopting Calendar Option A, which was developed as one of two options by the District Calendar Committee and which has a full 5-day Fall Break, a standard 3-day Thanksgiving Break, and August 9 as the first day of student attendance 

3.H. Approve to enter Executive Session for the purpose of Student Discipline/Expulsion Hearings pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(f)   

3.I. Approve return to Open Session

4.A. Approve to acknowledge receipt of Superintendent’s Personnel Action/Update
