4. COMMUNICATION 

4.A. Superintendent’s Update 

4.A.1. Dr. Fletcher and other superintendents are scheduled to be in Frankfort this week.

4.A.2. HB9 was pulled from the House Standing Committee on Appropriations and Revenue meeting agenda on March 17th.

4.A.3. 2022-23 School Year Online Registration is open for new and returning students.

4.A.4. We have a partnership with Pathways to provide QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Training for parents and community members.  (The Ministerial Association also has partnered with Pathways.)

4.A.5. Lawrence County central office administrators completed walkthroughs this week.

4.A.6. Dr. Fletcher will be asking Board members to approve May 20th as the last day of school for students.

4.A.7. Central Office administrators have a minor “restructuring” plan to allow for more mental health supports in our schools.

4.A.8. Dr. Fletcher is in the process of fulfilling a requirement of his original contract.

Approve as the 2022-2023 Lawrence County School District Calendar including attendance months, at the recommendation of Superintendent Fletcher whose decision is based on the staff and parent survey results, to adopt Calendar Option 1, which was developed as one of two options by the District Calendar Committee and which has a full 5-day Fall Break and a standard 3-day Thanksgiving Break

5.L. Progress Monitoring on the District Improvement Plan: Chief Academic Officer Katie Webb

5.M. Approve IDEA District Resource Teacher/s to chair ARC meetings during school year 2021-22

    Why would you take bids for grass mowing? I put in on here every year they it is a waste of time and everyone knows why. Maybe if you wouldn’t play games like this the nickel tax would have a better chance of passing. Taxpayers do not like people using their hard earned tax dollars unfairly. People know who you are and know what you are doing.
