3.A. Rebekah Scott and Courtney Kingsmore earned National Board Certification for Teachers  

4. COMMUNICATION 

4.A. Superintendent’s Update 

4.A.1. Lawrence County participated in the “Pack the Bus” event to help tornado victims in Western Kentucky. 

4.A.2. The Lawrence County Instructional Leadership Team attended curriculum meetings at KEDC this month. 

4.A.3. The Louisa West Elementary School SBDMC will hold interviews on Wednesday, December 22, for the position of principal. 

4.A.4. Representatives from Ross Tarrant, Codell, and CMTA had a preliminary walkthrough of Lawrence County High School and held the first design meeting for the LAVEC construction projects;  meetings with individual CTE departments will occur in January. 

4.A.5. We will begin the process of selection of new members for the Local Planning Committee in January. 

4.A.6. Representative from the 15th Region met with KEDC and KDE staff members to discuss virtual learning for 2022-2023. 

4.A.7. Christmas Break began Friday, and it was great to see people in our buildings. 

4.B.  Public Forum for the Annual Wellness Report: Nutrition and Physical Activity Report and “Alliance for a Healthier Generation District Results Summary Report”
