LAWRENCE COUNTY ARRESTS MAY 21-30, 2019
In the past over 9 day period of 4:15 P.M. May 20, 2019 thru to 3:15 P.M. May 29, 2019; there were at least 103 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 103, 21 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
Another 4 Lawrence County residents were arrested in neighboring and other Ky. counties ( 3 in Boyd County, and 1 in Bullitt County, Ky.)
That is in comparison to the previous over 9 day period of 11:59 P.M. May 11, 2019 thru to 4:15 P.M. May 20, 2019; there were at least 71 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 71, 14 of those arrested were from Lawrence County. Another 4 Lawrence County residents were arrested in neighboring and other Ky. counties (1 in Boyd County, 1 in Carter County, 1 in Johnson County, and 1 in Boyle County ). In addition, a Fort Gay, West Virginia man was arrested in Boyd County on 2 bench warrants in Lawrence County
There were 232 inmates lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center as of 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 30. The maximum designated number of inmates the BSRDC was built to hold is 225.
The names and criminal charges of the latest 21 Lawrence County arrests, as well as the 4 Lawrence County residents who were arrested in other Ky. counties jurisdictions, are the following:
Melissa D. Wolford, 31, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on May 21, 2019, at 11:59 A.M., by deputy Chase Kirk, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a bench warrant:
• HINDERING PROSECUTION OR APPREHENSION-2ND DEGREE.
Jeremy Matthew Thompson, 38, of Louisa, self surrendered and was taken into custody and was booked on May 21, 2019, at 2:22 P.M., in the Lawrence County Court, by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty jail sentence plea:
• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
Brian Allen Napier, 38, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on May 21, 2019, at 6:20 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Savanna Marie Ferguson-Kitchen, 31, of Louisa, was arrested on May 21, 2019, at 9:42 P.M., by deputy Michael Housinger, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Kenneth L. Fitch, 45, of Louisa, was arrested on May 22, 2019, at 12:35 A.M., by sergeant Steven Wilburn, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE,
• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 1ST DEGREE (MOTOR VEHICLE)
• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE,

Brianna Paige Osborne, 26, of Louisa, was arrested on May 22, 2019, at 4:11 P.M., by deputy Chase Kirk, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a bench warrant:
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

Lowell Justin Maynard. 30, of Louisa, was arrested on May 22, 2019, at 4:35 P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

Jason Fairchild, 45, of Monticello, Kentucky; was arrested on May 23, 2019, at 3:50 P.M., by deputy Chase Kirk, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a bench warrant from the Pulaski County, Kentucky Circuit Court:

Dustin D. Slone, 40, of Louisa, was arrested on May 24, 2019, at 2:42 P.M., by court security officer Charlie Curnutte, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with,via bench warrant:

Micheal D. Pack, 28, of Branchland, West Virginia; was arrested on May 24, 2019, at 8:17 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

James K. Jobe, 34, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on May 26, 2019, at 3:46 P.M., by trooper Daniel G. Vossmer, of the Kentucky State Police-Post, and was charged with:

Carl D. Daniels Jr., 34, of Tomahawk, Kentucky; was arrested on May 27, 2019, at 12:53 P.M., by deputy Chase Kirk, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a bench warrant:

Anthony F. Bart, 21, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; was arrested on May 28, 2019, at 2:49 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a bench warrant:

Savanna Marie Ferguson-Kitchen, 31, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on May 28, 2019, at 10:40 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• CRIMINAL TRESPASS-1ST DEGREE.
Gregory Allen Witham, 34, of Louisa, was arrested on May 29, 2019, at 4:26 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

William Jason Dillon, 39, of Louisa, was originally arrested on May 16, 2019, at 12:35 P.M., by deputy Cory Cook, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR., was subsequently transferred on May 21, 2019, at 11:12 A.M., to the Boyd County Detention Center, in Catlettsburg, Ky., and was charged with on a bench warrant from Boyd County:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR. William Dillon was given no bond and he remains lodged at the Boyd County Detention center as of Thursday afternoon, May 30.
Bobby J. Triplett, 53, of Ashland, Kentucky, was arrested in Boyd County, Ky., on May 23, 2019, at 2:00 P.M., by officer Erik M. Wilder, of the Ashland Police Department, and was charged with, via a bench warrant out of Lawrence County:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR. Bobby Triplett was was subsequently transferred on May 24, 2019, at 3:33 P.M., to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, in Paintsville, Ky., where Triplett remains lodged at the BSRDC as of Thursday afternoon, May 30.
Kristopher David Stevens, 39, of Louisa, was arrested in Bullitt County, Kentucky; on May 26, 2019, at 9:57 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police-Post #4, Elizabethtown, in Hardin County, Ky.,, and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Brittany Ann Endicott, 26, of Louisa, was taken into custody on May 28, 2019, at 3:58 P.M., at the Boyd County Detention Center, in Catlettsburg, Ky., and was charged with:
CHARGES UNKNOWN.
No wonder that no company will bring jobs to our county. The work force age they look at 25-45 all have backgrounds that prevent them from being hired. Such a shame for the ones who stay clean and want to remain in the county and work at a decent job.
I don’t understand how some of these people keep getting out. It’s a shame what people do to get out of trouble.
And for the recovering addicts some can’t get a second chance to get a job. Unless you go through ARC heck you get a career that way.
Mr. Jobe shot a handgun off in the presence of 3 minor children and walked with a misdemeanor! Wow!
I remember several years ago the same James Jobe was fired from driving a Lawrence County school bus because he made sexual advances towards several high school girls, and was sending explicit photos of himself to various other women and their husbands threatened him. How does people like that keep getting away with things??
