In the past just under 8 & 1/4 days period from 11:15 A.M. September 6, 2019 thru to 5:00 P.M. September 14, 2019; there were at least 113 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 113, only 9 of those arrested were from Lawrence County

No Lawrence County residents were arrested in other Kentucky counties.

That is in comparison to the previous past just over 7 & 1/3 days period from 3:00 A.M. August 30, 2019, thru to 11:15 A.M. September 6, 2019; there were at least 83 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 83, 16 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.  However, a former Lawrence County resident was picked up in Magoffin County, Ky. on a bench warrant from Lawrence County. Plus we missed two arrests in Lawrence County that we did not report in the last arrest list, raising the tally in that report from 17 to 19.

The number of inmates that were lodged at the BSRDC in Paintsville is 227 as of 6:00 A.M., Saturday, September 14, 2019.

The names and criminal charges of those latest 9 arrested in Lawrence County are the following:

Timothy W. Collier, 46, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on September 8, 2019, at 3:13 P.M., by deputy Cory Cook, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS UNDER/$500

 

Joe E. Gilliam, 54, of Martha, Kentucky; was arrested on September 9, 2019, at 4:25 P.M., by a sergeant Mason Keefer, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• DRIVING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE.

Michael Ernest Pennington, 33, of Fort Gay, West Virginia was arrested on September 10, 2019, at 1:27 A.M., by deputy Michael Housinger,of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department,and was charged with:

• DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE -1ST OFFENSE.

Shawn Allen, 44, of Louisa, was arrested on September 10, 2019, at 7:30 A.M., by deputy Michael Housinger, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) NO VISIBLE INJURY.

Sarah E. Debord, 30, of Louisa, was arrested on September 10,2019, at 1:32 P.M.,by patrolman officer Shane James, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Tiara A. Curry, 30, of Louisa, was arrested on September 12, 2019, at 12:11 A.M., by sergeant Steven Wilburn, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-3RD DEGREE,

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 1ST DEGREE,

• RESISTING ARREST,

• ASSAULT 3RD DEGREE-POLICE OFFICER OR PROBATION OFFICER.

Gary Fyffe, 54, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on September 13, 2019, at 2:54 P.M., by deputy Salyers, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE,1ST OFFENSE(METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

Joseph McCoy, 22, of Louisa, was arrested on September 13, 2018, at 3:05 P.M., by officer Cose, of the Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole, and was charged with:

• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

Rebecca Clark, was taken into custody on September 14, 2019, at 1:33 P.M., by deputy Cory Cook, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
