LAWRENCE COUNTY CURRENT ARREST LIST

THE NUMBER OF ARRESTS IS UP OVER DOUBLE FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEK, WITH MOST OF THOSE CAUGHT IN ARREST BLITZ ON 2 CONSECUTIVE TUESDAY OF OCTOBER 9 & 16; SEVERAL ARREST SUSPECTS FROM FORT GAY AREA AND MARTIN COUNTY.
In the last 8 day period from 12:01 A.M. October 9 thru to 11:59 P.M. October 16, there were at least 91 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 91, 15 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
That is in comparison to the previous 8 day period from 12:01 A.M. October 1 thru to 11:59 P.M. October 8, there were at least 96 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 96, 7 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
4 Lawrence County residents were arrested in neighboring border counties (1 in Boyd County, 2 in Johnson County, and 1 in Martin County). That is compared to 9 Lawrence County residents busted and listed in the arrest report last week.
Also, on late Wednesday night, October 17 the number of inmates who were arrested and were currently incarcerated at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky was 248, up from middle 210s at the beginning of October. The maximum designated number capacity of inmates listed that the BSRDC is supposed to hold is 225.

Melvin G. Harmon Jr., 27, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on October 9, 2018, at 12:11 A.M., by sergeant Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• MANUFACTURING METHAMPHETAMINE, 1ST OFFENSE,
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS ( 2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS ),
• CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-2ND DEGREE,

Christopher L. Shannon, 34, of Louisa, was arrested on October 9, 2018, at 12:27 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

Kimberly Maynard, 20, of Louisa, was arrested on October 9, 2018, at 12:28 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

Charles R. Crum, 35, of Debord, Kentucky; was arrested on October 13, 2018, at 7:45 P.M., by patrolman officer Steve Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

Kathy Muncy, 58, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on October 15, 2018, at 6:53 P.M., by patrolman officer Steve Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department,and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000, • BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE, • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Maddison Evans, 21, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on October 16, 2018, at 12:27 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

Mary A. Moore, 44, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County, Kentucky on October 16, 2018, at 1:36 A.M., by Sheriff JohN H. Kirk, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
