LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – NOVEMBER 15-23, 2019

ARRESTS IN LAWRENCE COUNTY AND THREE NEIGHBORING SAME JUDICIAL BIG SANDY COUNTIES SPIKE BACK UP NICELY AFTER  PREVIOUS DREARY AND LACKLUSTER WEEK.
In the past 9 day period from 12:01 A.M. November 15, 2019 thru to 11:59 P.M. November 23, 2019, there were at least 93 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 93, 14 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
Four Lawrence County residents were taken into custody in other Kentucky counties (1 in Martin County, 2 in Johnson County, and 2 in Rowan County). Also 3 Fort Gay, West Virginia residents were arrested in various Kentucky county jurisdictions .
That is in comparison to the previous past 8 day period from 12:01 A.M. November 7, 2019 thru to 11:59 P.M. November 14, 2019, there were at least 65 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 65, 5 of those arrested were from Lawrence County. 6 Lawrence County residents were taken into custody in other Kentucky counties (3 in Martin County,2 in Boyd County,and 1 in Scott County). 
Also a Fort Gay, West Virginia resident was first arrested in Lawrence County was transferred the next day to Pike County.
The number of inmates that were lodged at the BSRDC in Paintsville as of 8:00 A.M. Sunday morning, November 24, 2019, was 203.
The names and criminal charges of those latest fourteen arrested in Lawrence County, along with the four Lawrence County residents (and 3  Fort Gay,W.Va. residents) arrested in other Ky. county jurisdictions, are the following:
William J. Wilks, 56, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on November 15, 2019, at 12:51 A.M., by deputy Michael Housinger,of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with via grand jury indictment warrants: 
• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE,
•THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500,
• PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER II.

James J. Hudnall, 47, of Winchester, Kentucky; was arrested on November 15, 2019, at 3:28 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR. 

Williams B. Ellis, 42, of Louisa, was arrested on November 18, 2019, at 1:37 P.M., by trooper Shane Copley, of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/ INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE.
Gary Fyffe, 54 , of Blaine,Kentucky; was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 10:39 A.M.,by court security officer Courtney Salyers, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment warrant: 
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
Derek A. Crum, 39, of Louisa, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 6:38 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: 
• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST OFFENSE,
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
Sarah Maynard, 45, of Louisa, was arrested on November 20, 2019, at 1:38 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: 
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/ INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE, 
• FAILURE TO OR IMPROPER SIGNAL.
Timothy C. Stevenson, 27, of Huntington, West Virginia; was arrested on November 20, 2019, at 7:30 P.M.,by deputy Michael Housinger, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with: 
• FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED.
Jeremey Domosley, 36, of Louisa, was arrested on November 20, 2019, at 11:56 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:
 • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Dennie Lee Perkins, 43, of Louisa, was arrested on November 21, 2019, at 12:28 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: 
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Cyrus Martin Offenberg, 34, of Louisa, was arrested on November 22, 2019, at 10:49 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: 
• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.
William Anthony Tharp, 18, of Louisa, was arrested on November 23, 2019, at 12:16 A.M.,by patrolman officer Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED),
• ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A MINOR,
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
Jessie Marie Griffey, 25, of Louisa, was arrested on Nov. 23, 2019, at 1:09 A.M.,by patrolman officer Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE),
• ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A MINOR.
Stacey Little, 38, of Lexington, Kentucky; was arrested on November 23, 2019, at 4:49 P.M., by patrolman officer Julius Musick, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
Jefferey A. Looney, 27, of Louisa, was arrested on November 23, 2019, at 12:56 A.M.,by deputy Dwayne Bowen, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: 
• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY,
• POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON.

Andrea Lee Shafer, 36, of Adams,Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County, on November 18, 2019, at 12:56 A.M.,by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: 
• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) NO VISIBLE INJURY.
Alexander Morgan Jarrell, 27, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was transferred to the Kentucky River Regional Jail, in Hazard, Ky. in Perry County, Ky. on November 19,2019,at 2:25 P.M.,and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR after Jarrell was taken  from the Fayette County,Ky. Jail in Lexington, Ky., by a deputy of the Fayette County Sheriff Department, where he was initially taken to on November 18, 2019, at on a $500 full cash bond on the Perry County bench warrant, after Jarrell was originally arrested in Wolfe County, Ky., by the Wolfe County Sheriff Department, on December 26, 2018, at 4:17 P.M., and was charged with: 
• NON-PAYMENT OF FINES.
 
Alexander Morgan Jarrell has since been released from custody
Tina M. Copley, 37, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested in Martin County, Ky. on November 20, 2019, at 12:28 A.M.,by a deputy of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Jeremy Maxie, 34, of Louisa, was arrested in Rowan County, on November 21, 2019, at 9:32 A.M., by an officer of the Morehead Police Department, and was charged with:
 • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE.
Kimberly Opal Marcum, 35, of Fort Gay,West Virginia; was transferred to the Greenup County Detention Center in Greenup County, Ky. on November 22, 2019, at 12:56 P.M.,by a deputy of the Martin County Sheriff Department,and was charged in Greenup with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR, after she was originally arrested in Martin County, Ky. on November 1, 2019, at 4:00 A.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Jamie Walter Boyd, 35, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County, Ky. on November 22, 2019, at 9:31 P.M.,by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT. 
Dennie Lee Perkins was transferred to the Rowan County Detention Center in Morehead, Ky. in Rowan County, Ky. on November 23, 2019, at 1:59 P.M., by court security officers of the Rowan County Judicial Court, and was charged with: 
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT;
after Perkins was arrested on November 21, 2019, at 12:28 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: 
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
