LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – MAY 3-11, 2019
In the past over 8 day period of 5:30 P.M. May 3, 2019 thru to 11:59 P.M. May 11, 2019; there were at least 78 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 78, only 4 of those arrested were from Lawrence County. Another 7 Lawrence County residents were arrested in neighboring and other Ky. counties ( 2 in Boyd County, 2 in Martin County, and 3 in Johnson County ).
That is in comparison to the previous 8 day period of 6:30 P.M. April 25, 2019 thru to 5:30 P.M. May 3, 2019; there were at least 89 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 89, 16 of those arrested were from Lawrence County. Another 5 Lawrence County residents were arrested in neighboring and other Ky. counties ( 1 in Boyd County, 1 in Martin County, 1 in Pike County, 1 in Rowan County, and 1 in Bourbon County ).
There were 232 inmates lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center as of 11:00 A.M., Sunday, May 12.
The names and criminal charges of the latest 4 Lawrence County arrests, as well as the 7 Lawrence County residents arrested in other Ky. counties jurisdictions, are the following:
Kyle L Ferguson, 23, of Louisa, was arrested on May 4, 2019, at 11:04 A.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:
• SPEEDING 26 MPH OR > SPEED LIMIT, • CARELESS DRIVING, • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE, • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHO;/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) 1ST OFFENSE, • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • IMPROPER LANE USAGE-VEHICLES KEEP TO RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS.
Brandy N. Perkins, 34, of Inez,, Kentucky; was arrested on May 4, 2019, at 1:18 P.M., by deputy Cory Cook, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – ( < 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),
• TRAFFICKING IN MARIJUANA ( LESS THAN 8 OZ.) 1ST OFFENSE.
Ashley K. Adkins, 36, of Louisa, was arrested on May 5, 2019, at 10:59 A.M., by deputy Cory Cook, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• RESISTING ARREST, • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL), • FALSE REPORTING OF EMERGENCY-USE OF PARTY LINE, • MENACING, • DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE.
Elouise Scott, 35, of Louisa, was arrested on May 7, 2019, at 8:48 P.M., by sergeant Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with,via a grand jury indictment:
• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

Carrie J. Pittman, 40, of Louisa, was arrested in Boyd County on May 5, 2019, at 9:21 P.M., by officer Joshua R. Steele of the Ashland Police Department, and was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) 1ST OFFENSE,
• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE.
Holly King, 34, of Louisa, was was originally arrested in Bourbon County, Ky., on May 2, 2019, at 9:29 P.M. by officer Gary Merrill of the Paris Police Department, and was later transported to the the Boyd County Detention Center in Catlettsburg, on May 6, at 1:53 P.M., and was charged with on outstanding Boyd County warrant(s):
• NON-PAYMENT OF COURT COSTS, FEES OR FINES.
Victoria Lynn Wiley, 30, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County, on May 6, 2019, at 8:16 P.M., by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Phyllis Harless, 65, of Louisa,was arrested in Martin County, on May 6,2019, at 9:19 P.M.,by deputy Aaron Blevins of the Martin County Sheriff Department,and was charged with:
• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
David .A. Harmon, 58, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County, on May 6, 2019, at 9:39 P.M., by deputy Aaron Blevins, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
William M. Hickman, 56, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County, on May 7, 2019, at 9:38 P.M., by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

Miranda Blevins, 21, of Lomansville, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County, on May 9, 2019, at 7:37 P.M., by deputy Jason Arms, of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT, • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
Lol…back to usual doing nothing!!! On another note good job Deputy Cook for being out and doing stuff. Also good job Deputy Housinger… you have been doing more than the old one by far too. Didn’t think it was possible but one of old deputies is doing less now than he did before…no one expects him to do anything so he just drawing a check.
