WEEKLY ARREST NUMBERS FOR THE REGION WENT DOWN FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEK, ESPECIALLY OVER THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AS ARREST RATES BOTTOMED OUT; BUT LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST RATES STAYED ABOVE AVERAGE.

OUT OF THE AT LEAST 81 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE IN THE EIGHT DAYS FROM 12:01 A.M. MAY 24 THRU 11:59 P.M. MAY 31, 14 OF THEM WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

THAT IS COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS EIGHT DAY PERIOD, WHEN OUT OF THE AT LEAST 106 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE IN THE EIGHT DAYS FROM 12:01 A.M. MAY 16 THRU 11:59 P.M. MAY 23, 19 OF THEM WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

FOR THE MONTH OF MAY, THERE WERE AT LEAST 357 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE. OUT OF THOSE 357 ARRESTS, 62 ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

THE INMATE NUMBER AT THE BSRDC FROM MAY 24 THRU 31 VARIED BETWEEN 235 AND 250 INMATES, WITH CURRENTLY 240 INMATES AT THE BSRDC AT 9 A.M. THURSDAY JUNE 1, 2017
