SHERIFF JACKSON BUSTS WAYNE COUNTY, W. Va. MAN FOR IMPORTING FENTANYL, CARFENTANIAL, AND ALSO METH POSSESSION

FROM MAY 12-25, (13 DAYS) THERE HAVE BEEN A TOTAL OF 43 PEOPLE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE.

SIX OF THOSE ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

SEPARATELY, 2 LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS & 1 FORT GAY, WEST VIRGINIA RESIDENT WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN NEIGHBORING BOYD COUNTY .

PREVIOUSLY, FROM APRIL 26-MAY 12 (17 DAYS), THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 33 PEOPLE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED & BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE.

FIVE OF THOSE ARRESTS (1 OF WHICH HAD TO BE MADE A CITATION) WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.
SEPARATELY, 5 LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES (4 IN BOYD COUNTY [2 OF WHICH WAS THE SAME PERSON], AND 1 IN MARTIN COUNTY).

AS OF 11:59 P.M., MONDAY MAY 25, THERE WERE 132 INMATES BEING HOUSED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE.

HERE ARE THE LATEST SIX ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY, ALONG WITH THE THREE OUT OF COUNTY ARRESTED, ARE AS THE FOLLOWING:

Travis J. Hylton, 40, of Louisa, was arrested on May 13,2020, at 4:23 A.M.,by detective Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT.

Wesley J. Fraley, 50, of Louisa, was arrested on May 15,2020,at 2:34 A.M.,by detective Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY).

Robert H. Steele, 74, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on May 15, 2020, at 4:26 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY).

Buddy R. Moore, 46, of Louisa, was arrested on May 17,2020, at 7:33 P.M., by deputy Dwayne Bowen, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.

Shawn Risner, 32, of Lavalettte, West Virginia, was arrested on May 20, 2020, at 3:55 P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department & was charged with:

• IMPORTING CARFENTANIL, FENTANYL, OR FENTANYL DERIVATIVES,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

Shannon Ray Justice, 27, of Louisa, was arrested on May 25, 2020, at 2:58 A.M.,by detective Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION AUTO – $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000,

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2ND DEGREE,

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY,

• OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE.

Eddie Anthony Patrick, 21, of Louisa, was arrested in Boyd County, on May 19, 2020,at 7:02 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, Post 14-Ashland, Ky., and was charged with:

• SPEEDING 10 MPH OVER LIMIT,

• RECKLESS DRIVING,

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• POSSESSING LICENSE WHEN PRIVILEGES ARE REVOKED,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

• FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE.

Jason T. Pack, 35, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested in Boyd County, on May 19, 2020, at 9:16 P.M., by officer George of the Ashland Police department, and was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUB(EXCLUDES ALCOHOL),

• SERVING WARRANT (FOR OTHER POLICE AGENCY).

Stephen Lynn Robertson, 37, of Louisa, was arrested in Boyd County, on May 21, 2020, at 11:04 P.M., by officer T. Ballard, of the Ashland Police department, and was charged with:

• PAROLE VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

    Sheriff didn’t bust Risner for it. Sheriff only served an indictment which appears to be from a charge last year where Officer James BUSTED Risner. Good work Office James.
