ELEVEN ARRESTS WERE MADE IN LAWRENCE COUNTY MARCH 13-18. ANOTHER 3 LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN JOHNSON COUNTY IN THAT SAME PERIOD OF TIME.
THE NAMES OF THOSE ARRESTED ARE THE FOLLOWING:
Billie J. Spaulding, 47, of Louisa, was arrested on March 13, 2018, at 11:06 A.M., by deputy & court security officer Dave Wallen of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT.
Joey Mills, 65, of Louisa, Kentucky, was taken into custody and booked on March 7, 2018, at 9:47 A.M., in the Lawrence County Court, by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
Devana Lycans, 29, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on March 14, 2018, at 4:41 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with, via a grand hury indicment: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE.
Gene E. Gartin, 48, of Louisa, was arrested on March 14, 2018, at 5:35 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCE) 1ST OFFENSE, • FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE.
Charles D. Perkins, 25, of Louisa, was arrested on March 16, 2018, at 1:03 A.M., by deputy Mack Wilhite of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT, • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE), • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER I, • ASSAULT, 1ST DEGREE – POLICE OFFICER, • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER II.
William, W. Chafin, 29, of Louisa, was arrested on March 16, 2018, at 2:11 A.M., by patrolman officer Shane James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR ( 3 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS ).
Carl P. Barnes, 55, of Temple Hills, Maryland; was arrested on March 16, 2018, at 11:00 A.M., by deputy Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • THEFT OF SERVICES.
Dustin L. Deborah Ann Widener, 40, of Louisa, was arrested on March 18, 2018, at 2:00 A.M., by deputy Mack Wilhite of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500, • FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT).
Elizabeth A. Green, 47, of Louisa, was arrested on March 18, 2018, at 7:59 P.M., by constable Paul Wells of the Lawrence County Constable Office, District 1 and was charged with: • CRIMINAL TRESPASS-1ST DEGREE.
Emmanuel M. Rowe, 26, of Auxier, Kentucky; was arrested on March 18, 2018, at 8:45 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • CHARGES UNKNOWN.
