LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – JUNE 15-24, 2020

FROM JUNE 15 THRU JUNE 24, (10 DAYS) THERE HAVE BEEN A TOTAL OF 91 PEOPLE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE.

17 OF THOSE ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. ONE OF THOSE ARRESTS ORIGINALLY CAME VIA BOYD COUNTY, AND WAS LATER A PRISONER TRANSPORT TO THE BSRDC IN PAINTSVILLE.

SEPARATELY, 3 LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES (1 IN MARTIN COUNTY, 1 IN JOHNSON COUNTY, 1 IN WHITLEY COUNTY).

PREVIOUSLY, MAY 26 THRU TO JUNE 14, (20 DAYS) THERE WAS A TOTAL OF 91 PEOPLE ARRESTED FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, & MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED AND WERE BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE. 13 OF THOSE ARRESTS WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. ONE OF THOSE ARRESTS ORIGINALLY CAME VIA BOYD COUNTY, AND WAS LATER A PRISONER TRANSPORT TO THE BSRDC IN PAINTSVILLE.SEPARATELY, 4 LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES (2 IN BOYD COUNTY AND 1 IN GREENUP COUNTY, & 1 WAS LODGED IN CARTER COUNTY DETENTION CENTER BY US MARSHALS FROM WEST VIRGINIA).

AS OF 6:00 A.M., THURSDAY JUNE 25, THERE WERE 145 INMATES BEING HOUSED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE.

HERE ARE THE LATEST SEVENTEEN ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY, ALONG WITH THE THREE OUT OF COUNTY ARRESTED, ARE AS THE FOLLOWING:

Adam T. Clay, 55, of Louisa, was arrested on June 15, 2020, at 4:24 A.M., by sergeant Steven Wilburn, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/ INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/ DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE.

Joseph C. Warf, 51, of Louisa, was arrested on June 15, 2020, at 12:12 A.M., by deputy Everett Chase Kirk, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

• ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES VIOLATIONS,

• POSSESSION OF OPEN ALCOHOL BEVERAGE CONTAINER IN MOTOR VEHICLE PROHIBITED.

Chester Blevins Jr., 53, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on June 17, 2020, at 3:30 P.M., by deputy Jospeh Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN),

• IMPORTING HEROIN.

Eddie A. Patrick Jr., 21, of Louisa, was arrested on June 17, 2020, at 9:51 P.M., by deputy Derek Hinkle, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Jasmine Dials, 20, of Inez, Kentucky; on June 17,2020, at 9:53 P.M., by deputy Everett Chase Kirk, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE.

Tammy Lee Johnson-Hicks, 41, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on June 18, 2020, at 12:40 A.M.,by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, & was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/ POSSESS,

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA,

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Edith Sue Haddix, 51, of Louisa, was arrested on June 18, 2020, at 3:59 P.M., by deputy Julius Musick, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (NO VISIBLE INJURY).

Elizabeth A. Green, 49, of Louisa, was arrested on June 18, 2020, at 4:01 P.M., by deputy Joseph Osborne, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.

Timothy S. Harper, 19, of Louisa; was arrested on June 19, 2020, at 1:06 P.M., by patrolman officer Teddy B. Newsome, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR.

Carrie S. Wages, 37, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on June 19,2020, at 4:49 P.M.,by Trooper Sergeant, John M. Gabbard, of the Kentucky State Police, & was charged with

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/ POSSESS (2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS),

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN)-[2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS], TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE(2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS).

 

James Gordon Cox, 54, of Louisa, was arrested on June 20, 2020, at 10:27 P.M.,by Trooper Daniel G. Vossmer, of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR,

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION AUTO – $10,000 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$1,000,000,

• ISSUING A FALSE FINANCIAL STATEMENT.

 

Randel Ellis Boggs, 21, of Louisa, was arrested on June 22, 2020, at 4:08 P.M.,by Trooper Bradley M. Couch, of the Kentucky State Police,and was charged with:

• FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALC/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

• NO BRAKE LIGHTS (PASSENGER VEHICLES),

• FAILURE TO OR IMPROPER SIGNAL,

• IMPROPER REGISTRATION PLATE,

• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• FAILURE TO NOTIFY ADDRESS CHANGE TO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION,

• LICENSE TO BE IN POSSESSION.

David M. Meek, 33, of Hagerhill, Kentucky; was arrested on June 23, 2020, at 11:27 A.M., on a bench warrant by court security Courtney Salyers, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL),

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR MISDEMEANOR OFFENSE).

Kasandra R. Slone, 25, of Estill, Kentucky; was arrested on June 23,2020, at 5:58.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Melissa Copley, 46, of Prichard, West Virginia; was taken into custody on June 23, 2020, at 11:26 P.M., by detective Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence “weekender”:

CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Carl D. Blair, 41, of Louisa, was arrested on June 24, 2020, at 1:06. P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• VIDEO VOYEURISM,

• SEXUAL ABUSE, 1ST DEGREE.

Ethan L. Edwards, 18, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on June 24, 2020, at 5:00. P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.

Willie Dean Goble, 57, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Martin County, on June 18 2020, at 10:20 A.M., by deputy David Adams, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 1ST DEGREE (ON FOOT),

• POSSESSION A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE,

• PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE,

• RESISTING ARREST,

• ASSAULT 3RD DEGREE-POLICE OFFICER OR PROBATION OFFICER,

• TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE.

Zachariah Froschauer, 30, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County, on June 20, 2020, at 4:48 P.M., by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINORi iNJURY).
