LAWRENCE CO. ARREST LIST – JULY 20 – JULY 27, 2017

ELEVEN ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY IN THE PAST WEEK. 7 MORE LAWRENCE COUNTY CITIZENS ARRESTED IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES. ALSO BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER ONCE AGAIN AT ALL TIME HIGH NUMBERS OF PRISONERS INCARCERATED AT FACILITY.

IN THE SEVEN AND A HALF DAYS FROM 12:01 A.M. JULY 20 THRU 11:59 A.M. JULY 27; OUT OF THE AT LEAST 104 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE , 11 OF THEM WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY.

ALSO, 7 MORE LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE ARRESTED IN OTHER KENTUCKY COUNTIES ( 2 IN JOHNSON COUNTY, 1 IN LEWIS COUNTY, 1 IN BOYD COUNTY, 1 IN FLOYD COUNTY, 1 IN PIKE COUNTY, AND 1 IN ROWAN COUNTY).

THAT IS COMPARED TO PREVIOUS SEVEN DAY PERIOD FROM 12:01 A.M JULY 13 THRU 11:59 P.M. JULY 19, OUT OF THE AT LEAST 82 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE , 17 WERE ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY, WITH 5 MORE LAWRENCE COUNTY CITIZENS ARRESTED IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES ( 2 IN JOHNSON COUNTY, 2 IN MAGOFFIN COUNTY, 1 IN MARTIN COUNTY).

ONCE AGAIN BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IS AT AN ALL TIME HIGH NUMBER OF PRISONERS INCARCERATED AT FACILITY. AT SUNRISE THIS MORNING JULY 27, THERE WERE 288 INMATES BOOKED IN THE JAIL WHICH ITS DESIGNATED CAPACITY IS 225 INMATES.

Horn-Childers, 37, of Louisa, was arrested on July 20, 2017, at 11:22 P.M., by deputy Dwayne Bowen of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ESCAPE 2ND DEGREE-(IDENTIFY FACILITY), • TAMPERING W/PRISONER MONITORING DEVICE, • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 2ND OFFENSE, • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.
