From 12:01 A.M. July 1 thru to 11:59 P.M., July 7, there were at least 83 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 83 or so, 13 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
One Lawrence County resident were arrested elsewhere in Boyd County.
The number of individuals who were lodged at the BSRDC late Tuesday night, July 10, was 328.
The names and criminal charges of the latest 13 Lawrence County arrests (and the 1 out of county arrest) are the following:
Angela L. Rice, 50, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on July 1, 2018, at 4:28 A.M., by deputy Dwayne Bowen of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE -1ST OFFENSE.
Christine Martin, 61, of Louisa, was arrested on July 1, 2018, at 2:59 P.M., by sergeant Ed Cordle of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• ARSON, 1ST DEGREE.
Eloise M. Scott, 35, of Louisa, was arrested on July 1, 2018, at 10:11 P.M., by patrolman officer Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• CRIMINAL TRESPASS-1ST DEGREE,
• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE,
• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
Melvin G. Harmon Jr., 27, of Webbville, Kentucky; was taken into custody and booked on July 3, 2018, at 12:40 P.M., in the Lawrence County Court, by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

Brett M. Thomas, 28, of Louisa, was taken into custody and booked on July 3, 2018, at 12:43 P.M., in the Lawrence County Court, by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:
