LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST: JANUARY 24-JANUARY 31, 2019

BRUTAL & ROUGH WEATHER FOR THE LAST WEEK OF JANUARY CAUSES DROP IN NUMBER OF ARRESTS COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS WEEK IN LAWRENCE COUNTY AND AROUND THE NEIGHBORING AREA COUNTIES.

In the 8+ day period from 4:01 P.M. January 23 thru to 11:59 P.M. January 31, there were at least 76 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville. Out of those 76, 10 (for 11 bookings) of those arrested were from Lawrence County. Another 2 Lawrence County residents were arrested in separate Ky. counties ( 1 in Martin County, and 1 in Scott County ).

That is in comparison to the previous 8+ days from 12:01 A.M. January 16, 2019 thru to 4:01 P.M. January 23, there were at least 93 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 93, 16 of those arrested were from Lawrence County, with another Lawrence County resident was arrested Martin County.

For the month of January, the number of inmates booked at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville was at least 353. That is surpassing the totals for the past previous months of December-295, and November-298.
63 were from Lawrence County. 8 Lawrence County residents were arrested in other Kentucky county jurisdictions.

The names and criminal charges of the latest 11 Lawrence County arrests, as well as the 2 Lawrence County folks arrested in other county jurisdictions, for the ending week of January 2019, are the following:

 

Glen D. Gray, 57, of Louisa, was taken into custody and booked on January 24, 2019, at 6:35 P.M., at the Lawrence County Court, by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve jail time on a guilty plea:

 

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER,

• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

 

 

 

 

 

Kenneth Farrell le Sammons, 43, of Louisa, was taken into custody and booked on January 25, 2019, at 1:02 P.M., at the Lawrence County Court, by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve jail time on a guilty plea:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

 

 

 

Teresa A. Clay, 53, of Louisa, was arrested on January 25, 2019, at 5:21 P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • TRAFFICKING IN A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST OFFENSE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lauren Deerfield, 34, of Rush, Kentucky; was arrested on January 26, 2019, at 12:03 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with

: • VIOLATION OF A KENTUCKY EPO/DVO,

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT).

 

 

 

 

 

Frank D. Marshall, 59, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on January 26, 2019, at 6:38 P.M., by constable Daniel Castle, of the Lawrence County Constable Office-District 4, and was charged with:

• DRIVING DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE – 2ND OFFENSE (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES),

• CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON.

 

 

 

 

 

Dennis Maynard, 33, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on January 26,2019,at 11:13 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department,and was charged with:

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE 3RD OR > OFFENSE IN 12 MONTHS.

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                                                                  Troy Tackett Jr., 23, of Louisa, was arrested on January 28, 2019, at 7:26 P .M ., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Po lice   ,and was charged with:

• FAI LURE TO APPEAR ( 3 SEPARATE   CHARGE COUNTS),

• THEFT BY FAILURE TO MAKE                REQUIRED DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alexiya Schwan, 30, of Ulysses, Kentucky; was arrested on January 28, 2019, at 8:15 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) NO VISIBLE INJURY.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Katelyn D. Miller, 30, of Louisa, was arrested on January 28,2019, at 10:20 P.M.,by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) NO VISIBLE INJURY.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Troy E. Miller, 34, of Louisa, was arrested on January 28, 2019,at 10:38 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ethan H. Senters, 28, of Louisa, was arrested on January 31, 2019, at 7:44 P.M., by Sheriff Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT.

Tony Marcum, 62, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County on January 24, 2019, at 9:32 A.M., by deputy Aaorin Bevins the Martin County Sheriff Department,and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR,

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, • SPEEDING 09 MILES OVER LIMIT.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                                                                                                                                                                        Danny Joe Chapman, 30, of Louisa, was arrested in Scott County on January 28, 2019, at 2:14 A.M., by an officer of the Georgetown Police Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING WARRANT (FOR OTHER POLICE AGENCY).
