LIKE MARTIN COUNTY,THERE WERE NO ARRESTS FOR A 3 DAY PERIOD DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY WEEKEND FROM DECEMBER 24 – 27.

BUT FROM DECEMBER 27 THRU JANUARY 2. THERE WERE 18 ARRESTS IN THE SEVEN DAY PERIOD, WITH THE MAJORITY OF THEM HAPPENING DURING AND ON THRU THE NEW YEARS WEEKEND.

ANOTHER 3 LAWRENCE RESIDENTS WERE BOOKED IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES TO SERVE JAIL TIME SENTENCES ON PLEAS, ONE EACH IN JOHNSON, BOYD AND PIKE COUNTIES.

THE NAMES AND CRIMINAL CHARGES OF THOSE 18 INDIVIDUALS ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY (AND THE 3 OUTSIDE THE COUNTY) SINCE DECEMBER 27 ARE THE FOLLOWING:

Shawn A. FitzpatrickShawn A. Fitzpatrick, 22, of Louisa, was arrested on December 27, 2017, at 3:42 P.M., by sergeant deputy Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIME, • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER II.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jonie M. CollinsworthJonie M. Collinsworth, 41, of Louisa, was arrested on December 28, 2017, at 7:42 P.M., by deputy Mack Wilhite of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • NO REGISTRATION PLATES, • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE, • FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE, • FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 2ND OFFENSE, • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE [ 2ND SEPARATE CHARGE COUNT ].

 

 

 

 

 

Bethla F. StumpBethla F. Stump, 36, of Louisa, was arrested on December 29, 2017, at 3:22 A.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER, • FAILURE TO APPEAR.

 

 

 

 

 

David Bryan JohnsonDavid Bryan Johnson, 40, of Louisa, was arrested on December 29, 2017, at 10:44 A.M., by Chief Greg Fugitt of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • NON PAYMENT OF FINES, • FAILURE TO APPEAR, • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, 1ST DEGREE, • ESCAPE 2ND DEGREE-(IDENTIFY FACILITY), • RESISTING ARREST, • WANTON ENDANGERMENT-2ND DEGREE.

 

 

 

 

 

Matthew R. CaudillMatthew R. Caudill, 35, of Louisa, was arrested on December 30, 2017, at 4:43 A.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (COCAINE) [ 4 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS ], • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/ INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE, • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS ( 2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS ), • BAIL JUMPING 1ST DEGREE ( 2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS ), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA; USE, POSSES, 1ST OFFENSE, • ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIME.

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/ POSSESS, • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.

Fraley, 46, of Louisa, was arrested on December 30, 2017, at 11:00 P.M., by patrolman officer Julius Musick of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE ((METHAMPHETAMINE), • POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/ POSSESS.

 

 

 

 

Nathaniel ParsonsNathaniel Parsons, 56, of Louisa, was arrested on December 31, 2017, at 10:16 P.M., by patrolman officer Shane James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).

 

 

 

 

Donald L. PackDonald L. Pack, 39, of Louisa, was taken into custody and booked on January 1, 2018, at 1:12 P.M., by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to served a guiltily plea sentence: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Wells, 28, of Lomansville, Kentucky; was taken into custody and booked in Johnson County on December 27, 2017, at 1:53 P.M., by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, to served a guiltily plea sentence: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Lay, 21, of Louisa, was transported from the Pike County Detention Center in Pikeville, Kentucky, by the Pike County Jailer Transport to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville on December 27, 2017, at 3:36 P.M., by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, to served a guiltily plea sentence for criminal offenses in Lawrence County: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
