LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – AUGUST 29-SEPTEMBER 7, 2018

In the 8 day period from 3:00 P.M. August 29 thru to 5:00 P.M. September 7, there were at least 95 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 95, 16 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.

In comparison, the previous 8 day period from 5:00 P.M. August 21 thru to 3:00 P.M. August 29, there were 93 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 93, 10 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.

Also, two Lawrence County residents were arrested in other Kentucky county jurisdictions; with 1 in Johnson County and 1 in Kenton County.

The number of inmates that were being housed at the BSRDC facility is at its lowest number in well over a year (middle summer 2017); as of 7:00 P.M. Friday evening September 7, was 244. The jail as it was built has a designated maximum capacity of 225.

For the month of August 2018, the number of people who were brought to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center to be booked as prisoners was 399.

The names and criminal charges of the latest 16 Lawrence County arrests are the following:

 

Ronnie H. Webb

Ronnie H. Webb, 51, of Van Lear, Kentucky, was taken into custody and booked on August 29, 2018, at 7:03 P.M., by an officer of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/ SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

Carl Marcum

Carl Marcum, 30, of Louisa, was arrested on August 30,2018, at 3:58 P.M.,by an officer of the Louisa Police Department,
and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500.

 

 

Dale Allen Fraley

Dale Allen Fraley, 47, of Louisa, was arrested on September 1, 2018, at 7:13 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500.

 

 

 

Samson Meade

Samson Meade, 38, of Warfield, Kentucky; was arrested on September 2, 2018, at 4:22 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING WARRANT (FOR OTHER POLICE AGENCY).

 

 

Elouise Scott

Elouise Scott, 35, of Louisa, was arrested on September 2, 2018, at 12:13 P.M., by patrolman officer Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR,

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

 

 

Kimberly Maynard

Kimberly Maynard, 20, of Louisa, was arrested on September 4, 2018, at 12:25 P.M., by court security officer Charlie Curnutte, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD,

• NO OPERATORS-MOPED LICENSE,

• FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS,

• SPEEDING 15 MPH OVER LIMIT.

 

April Ayers

April L. Ayers, 30, of Warfield, Kentucky; was arrested on September 4, 2018, at 12:36 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

 

 

Jason T. Pack

Jason T. Pack, 33, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on September 4, 2018, at 8:31 P.M., by sergeant Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS (5 SEPARATE COUNTS CHARGES),

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.

 

Larry J. Maynard

Larry J. Maynard, 33, of Louisa, was arrested on September 4, 2018, at 8:34 P.M., by sergeant Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• NO OPERATORS-MOPED LICENSE,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.

 

Brian A. Roop

Brian A. Roop, 32, of Louisa, was arrested on September 5, 2018, at 12:48 P.M., by court security officer Rodney Lycan, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER/$500.

 

 

Cole Fredrick May

Cole Fredrick May, 34, of Louisa, was arrested on September 5, 2018, at 2:26 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT CARD $500 < $10,000,

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

 

Douglas Murphy

Douglas Murphy, 70, of Louisa, was arrested on September 5, 2018, at 6:41 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE,

• ASSAULT, 2ND DEGREE.

 

 

Tommy N. Church

Tommy N. Church, 28, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on September 6, 2018, at 1:52 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-2ND DEGREE-POLICE OFFICER.

 

 

Morgan May

Morgan May, 62, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on September 6, 2018, at 2:05 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT

 

 

 

Robert Cyrus

Robert Cyrus, 33, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on September 6, 2018, at 10:58 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE.

 

Johnny Howard

Johnny Howard, 57, of Louisa, was arrested on September 6, 2018, at 12:20 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

Jefferson Lee Mitchell, 47, of Louisa, was arrested in Kenton County, Ky., on September 3, 2018, at 1:19 A.M., by an officer of the Covington Police Department, and was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

 

 

Rodney A. Barker

Rodney A. Barker, 47, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County on September 5, 2018, at 5:54 A.M., by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) NO VISIBLE INJURY,

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE,

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).
