LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – AUGUST 21-29, 2018

In the last 8 day period from 5:00 P.M. August 21 thru to 3:00 P.M. August 29, there were at least 93 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 93, 10 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
In comparison, the previous 9 day period from 5:00 P.M. August 12 thru 5:00 P.M. August 21, there were 129 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 129, 18 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
The number of inmates that were being housed at the BSRDC facility as of 6:00 A.M. Thursday morning August 30 was 270. The jail as it was built was designated maximum capacity of 225.

Todd Fitzpatrick, 23, of Louisa, was arrested on August 24, 2018, at 12:43 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• CUSTODIAL INTERFERENCE – FELONY,
• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
William T. Crothers, 55, of Paintsville, Kentucky; was arrested on August 27, 2018, at 11:59 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT.
Misty D. Blevins, 31, of Louisa, was arrested on August 27, 2018, at 3:32 P.M., by court security officer Charlie Curnutte, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

Misty Vance, 39, of Breeden, West Virginia: was arrested on August 27, 2018, at 7:34 P.M., by sergeant Ed Cordle, of the Louisa Police Department,and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500, • CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-3RD DEGREE, • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER ( 2 SEPARATE COUNTS SENTENCES ).
Jason A. Hale, 37, of Louisa, was arrested on August 27, 2018, at 7:36 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

Nicole L. Maynard, 39, of Louisa, was arrested on August 28, 2018, at 9:56 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-2ND DEGREE,
• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT).

Randy T. l. Justice, 39, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County on August 23, 2018, at 11:03 A.M., by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

Melissa R. Thompson, 42, of Louisa, was arrested in Henderson County, Ky., on August 23, 2018, at 4:31 P.M., in the Henderson County Court, via a COURT ORDER, and was charged with:
• UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METH PRECURSOR, 1ST OFFENSE.
Thomas Osborne Jr., 43, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County on August 23, 2018, at 7:24 P.M., by a deputy of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
Kevin Lester, 34, of Louisa, was arrested in Pike County on August 24, 2018, at 5:57 P.M., by patrolman officer Josh Lawson, of the Pikeville Police Department, and was charged with:
• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE,
• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE,

A bail bond for Lester’s failure to appear was set at $200 full cash only; while on his other 3 charges, he was denied any bail bond and ordered to be held.
