19 LAWRENCE COUNTIANS ARRESTED AWAY FROM HOME IN MARCH

NUMEROUS LAWRENCE COUNTY CITIZENS ARRESTED ON VARIOUS CHARGES IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES IN MARCH

 

It was not a good month for over a dozen and a half Lawrence County residents in the past month of March, as they were arrested for a wide range of various criminal and traffic offenses

Of the 19 people who were arrested in the following report, and this list does not include several Lawrence County residents who were arrested in neighboring Wayne County, West Virginia or picked on up in Lawrence County on warrants out of Wayne County also in the month of March.

Many of the individuals who are printed below are repeat offenders who have been charged with multiple criminal offenses with multiple arrests in the past several years in Lawrence County or in neighboring county jurisdictions.

Those Lawrence County residents who were arrested in the neighboring counties of Johnson, Carter, Boyd, Morgan, and Rowan, are listed as the following:


Charles Chris Auxier, 37, of Lomansville, Kentucky; was arrested March 1, 2016 at 1:30 A.M., in Johnson, County, by trooper Dustin Thompson of the Kentucky State Police, Post #9, Pikeville, Kentucky; and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT, • NO REGISTRATION PLATES, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/ SECURITY 1ST OFFENSE, • IMPROPER EQUIPMENT, • NO OPERATORS-MOPED LICENSE, • GIVING OFFICER FALSE NAME OR ADDRESS, • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS.

John J. Newsome

 

John J. Newsome, 21, of Louisa, was arrested March 1, 2016 at 10:02 P,M., by the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • SERVING TWO WARRANTS (FOR OTHER POLICE AGENCY).

 

Cassandra E. Robertson

Cassandra E. Robertson/Arthur, 46, of Louisa, was arrested March 2, 2016 at 5:30 P.M., by patrolman officer Mark Hammonds of the Morehead Police Department, in Rowan County, Kentucky; and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR, • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT, • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER. Cassandra E. Robertson/ Arthur was transferred to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Painstville, Kentucky in Johnson County on March 3, 2016, at 12:28 P.M. and was charged with: • SERVING TWO BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT.

 Mickey R. Cline

Mickey R. Cline, 52, of Ulysses, Kentucky; was arrested March 3, 2016 at 5:58 P.M., by patrolman officer Nick Taylor of the Painstville Police Department, in Johnson County, Kentucky; and was charged with: • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).


 

Amanda Peters

Amanda Peters, of Louisa, was arrested March 3, 2016 at 8:57 P.M., by Detective John Holbrook of the Painstville Police Department, in Johnson County, Kentucky; and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFF (DRUG UNSPECIFIED), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESSION, • TRAFFICKING IN CONT SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (> OR = 10 D.U. DRUG UNSPECIFIED), • PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE.

 

Andrew A. Sexton

 

Andrews A. Sexton, 38, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested March 10, 2016 at 9:27 A.M., by deputy James Frint of the Carter County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR ( 2 COUNTS ), and his bond was set at $3000.Andrews A. Sexton was transferred to the Boyd County Detention Center on March 29, 2016 at 11:01 A.M. and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

 

Robin D. ThurmanRobin D. Thurman, 32, of Louisa, was arrested March 12, 2016 at 8:24 P.M., by trooper Zachary Scott of the Kentucky State Police in Carter County, Kentucky; and was charged with: • SERVING FOUR BENCH WARRANTS FOR COURT, • THEFT BY DECEPTION-INCLUDE COLD CHECKS UNDER/$500, and her bond was set at $2250.

Robin D. Thurman was transferred from Carter County Detention Center to the Boyd County Detention Center on March 14, 2014 at 11:28 A.M. and was charged with: • THEFT BY DECEPTION-INCLUDE COLD CHECKS UNDER/$500, and her bond was also set at $2250.

Jacqueline B. RisnerRoberts

 

Jacqueline B. Risner-Roberts, 49, of Louisa, was arrested March 12, 2016 at 12:04 P,M., by Sheriff John H. Kirk of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

 

 

Sandra K. Hatfield

Sandra K. Hatfield, 35, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested March 4, 2016 at 5:03 P.M., in Carter County, and was charged with: THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500.

 

 

 

David Wilson YannieDavid Wilson Yannie, 29, of Louisa, was arrested March 13, 2016 at 9:14 P.M., in Boyd County, by trooper Forrest Newsome Jr. of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED. The warrant was probation violation for felony offenses out Lee County, Florida.

David Wilson Yannie was booked at the Lee County Jail, in Fort Meyers, Florida, on March 19, 2016 at 10:08 P.M.

 Kimverlynn MaynardKimberlynn Maynard, 29, of Louisa, was arrested March 14, 2016 at 7:20 P.M., in Boyd County, by trooper Littleton of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT, • SPEEDING 26 MPH OR > SPEED LIMIT, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • NO OPERATORS-MOPED LICENSE, • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS.


 

Charles Defoe

 

Charles Defoe, 32, of Louisa, was arrested March 15, 2016 at 7:20 P.M., in Boyd County, by the ASHLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT., and was charged with: • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE), • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3RD DEGREE.

 

 

Jonathan D. Mills

Jonathan D. Mills, 46, of Louisa, was arrested March 15, 2016 at 7:20 P.M., in Boyd County, and was charged with: • FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT, and his bond was set at $5000.

Jonathan D. Mills was arrested again on March 31, 2016 at 11:49 A.M. in Boyd County, by the BOYD COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT., and was charged with: CHARGES UNKNOWN.

 

Brooklyn GrovesBrooklyn Groves, 27, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested March 15, 2016 at 11:55 P.M., in Johnson County, by trooper Zachary Haney of the Kentucky State Police, Post #9, Pikeville, Kentucky and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATED CIRCUMSTANCE) 1ST OFFENSE, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT, • FAILURE TO OR IMPROPER SIGNAL.


Brandon A. Skaggs

 

Brandon Arthur Skaggs, 31, of Mazie, Kentucky; was arrested March 20, 2016 at 10:56 P.M., in Morgan County, by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, Post #8, Morehead, Kentucky; and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/ DRUGS/ ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE, • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS.


Johnny D. Williams Johnny D. Williams, 37, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested March 18, 2016 at 9:42 P.M., in Carter County, by trooper Bradley Couch of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • SERVING PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT.

 

 

 

Jefferson B. SchaefferJefferson B. Schaeffer, 22, of Louisa, was arrested March 22, 2016 at 4:44 A.M., in Johnson County, by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, Post #9, Pikeville, Kentucky and was charged with: • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, • RECKLESS DRIVING, • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESSION, • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE • POSS OF OPEN ALCOHOL BEVERAGE CONTAINER IN MOTOR VEHICLE PROHIBITED.

 

 

Christine W. MartinChristine W. Martin, 59, of Louisa, was arrested March 24, 2016 at 8:14 P.M., in Boyd County by patrolman Bailey of the Ashland Police Department, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Christine W. Martin was transferred from Boyd County Detention Center to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on March 25, 2014 at 1:04 P.M. and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Darlene KittsDarlene Kitts, 49, of Louisa, was arrested March 31, 2016 at 7:28 P,M., by Sheriff John H. Kirk of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • • SERVING WARRANT (FOR OTHER POLICE AGENCY), • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
