Lawrence Co. well represented in the NEKY Senior Bowl

LC Graduates #50 Austin Ross, #74 Alex  Endicott and #78 Josh Ratliff coming off the field after the East team scored on their first play from scrimmage.

 

Morehead, Ky. — In the 11th annual Northeastern Kentucky East/West Senior game played on Friday night at Morehead St. University four Lawrence Co. graduates got to put on the pads one more time. Austin Ross, Grant Kiser, Alex Endicott and Josh Ratliff played for the East team as they were in the short end of a 15-12 defeat on a beautiful night for some summer football. 

LC Grad #7 Grant Kiser playing safety for the East team in the NEKY Senior game at Morehead St. Grant will be a walk-on at MSU this fall competing for the QB position.The East squad took a 6-0 lead on their first play from scrimmage on a long touchdown run by West Carter QB Brayden Brown who went right behind center Alex Endicott, right guard Austin Ross and right tackle Josh Ratliff untouched for the first points of the All Star game. The East trailed 7-6 at halftime. On the first play of the 2nd half 

the East team broke another long touchdown this time by TJ Miller of Fleming Co. to take the lead 12-7. The West team scored and tacked on the two point conversion to set the final score at 15-7. 

Alex Endicott and Josh Ratliff played on the offensive line and Grant Kiser played the entire game at Safety. Austin Ross played on the offensive line and also a few snaps on the defensive line. Endicott was also chosen as one of the team captains. 

East team was made up of players from Lawrence Co., Mason Co., Raceland, Greenup Co., Fleming Co. Russell, Bracken Co., East Carter, West Carter. Players from Ashland, Boyd Co. Johnson Central and Paintsville were invited but chose not to participate. 

West team was made up of players from Paris, Montgomery Co., Clark Co., Rowan Co., Bath Co. Powell Co., Harrison Co., Bourbon Co. and Lewis Co. 

 

LC grads #7 Grant Kiser, #78 Josh Ratliff, #50 Austin Ross, and #74 Alex Endicott played for the East team in the 11th Annual NEKY Senior game at Morehead St.
