
Lawrence County, in cooperation with the Kentucky Division of Waste Management, will be sponsoring a tire collection program to allow Lawrence County citizens a chance to dispose of waste tire at no charge. This includes tires on rims.
TIRES NOT ACCEPTED: Calcium Filled, Off-Road Construction, Foam Filled, Solid with Pressed-On Rims, or Equipment Tires with a Bead Greater than 1 3/4″
TIRES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM: Tire Retailers, Agricultural Retailers, Scrap Dealers, Salvage Yards, and/or Tire Recyclers. Scrap/Salvage and recycle businesses are not eligible to participate and will not be allowed to bring in tires.
Dates for this tire collection program are September 8th, 9th, and 10th 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
